The bridge between 3D printing and injection molding

With the start of 3D printing, bridging production with injection molding is becoming more and more valuable. In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the necessary parts for personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilators were in short supply and demand for it is now high, 3D printing has strengthened the provision of needed equipment for medical professionals and patients, while IM has strengthened production to meet a wider range of needs. Some technologies or products are still in use because 3D printing may have enhanced the efficiency of the device.
